Which ocean carriers does FreightPane support?
FreightPane tracks containers across all major ocean carriers including Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, ONE, Evergreen, COSCO, Yang Ming, and more. Container tracking is carrier-agnostic because it is based on container number lookups through FindTEU, not individual carrier APIs.
How real-time are the vessel positions?
Vessel positions are updated via AIS (Automatic Identification System) data from AIS Stream. Positions typically update every few minutes depending on the vessel and its location. In busy shipping lanes, updates are more frequent. In remote ocean areas, there may be slightly longer intervals between position reports.
Do I need to enter container numbers manually?
No. FreightPane reads container numbers directly from the container or tracking fields on your Epicor purchase orders. If your purchasing team enters the container number in Epicor, FreightPane picks it up automatically and begins tracking.
